As we continue to grow, our Scandinavian subsidiary, Haulotte Scandinavia AB – located next to Landvetter Airport – is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our Scandinavian operations and build on the successful journey we began 40 years ago in France and continued 20 years ago with the establishment of our Nordic subsidiary in Sweden.
The Role:
As General Manager of Haulotte Scandinavia, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all business operations, strategy development, and team management across 8 countries. Your mission is to ensure sustained growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
You will report directly to the European Managing Director and will be responsible for the local deployment of the group’s strategic vision while achieving commercial, financial, and operational goals.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead, inspire, and manage the Scandinavian team to achieve operational and commercial excellence.
- Develop and implement a commercial action plan in collaboration with headquarters.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive business growth and profitability through strategic planning and market analysis.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Stay attuned to market trends and adapt strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Promote Haulotte’s values and culture, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
Profil
We are looking for a proactive leader with a strong commercial mindset and a hands-on approach to management. Your proven ability to unite and motivate teams will be key to your success.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the B2B, rental, industrial or construction equipment sector.
- Strong service oriented commercial acumen with a track record of driving business performance.
- Hands-on, action-oriented leader who is not afraid to make decisions and lead by example.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-driven and strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Proficiency in English and Swedish is required.
- Solid understanding of commercial law, finance, HR, and marketing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and key business systems (ERP, CRM).
- Past experience in the rental equipment sector and/or managing commercial technical field services is a strong advantage.
