The role :

Reporting to the Customer Service department, the Field Service Technician is a key player in Haulotte Scandinavia's growth ambition. Based at the Landvetter office, you will spend the majority of your time on the road, performing technical interventions directly at customer sites across the Nordic and Baltic region. 

As a true brand ambassador, you represent Haulotte in the field, combining technical excellence, a solution-oriented mindset and a strong service culture. You are also expected to actively promote Haulotte's service offering, contributing directly to business development alongside the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities :

Intervention planning and preparation

  • Organise and schedule field visits based on work orders and customer information, including diagnostic history and required parts.
  • Verify parts and tooling availability ahead of each intervention to ensure first-time fix rates.
  • Manage and optimise the spare parts stock and tooling in your service van.

Technical interventions

  • Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Haulotte aerial work platforms.
  • Identify root causes of failures and implement appropriate technical solutions efficiently and safely.
  • Carry out warranty interventions and mandatory periodic inspections in compliance with Group standards and local regulations.
  • Ensure all work performed meets internal quality procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Reporting and continuous improvement

  • Complete intervention reports and associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner using dedicated digital tools.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders across technical support, customer service and sales teams.
  • Contribute to field feedback to support the continuous improvement of products and services.

Customer relationship and service development

  • Represent the Haulotte brand with professionalism and a positive attitude at every customer touchpoint.
  • Promote Haulotte's service portfolio, including maintenance contracts, spare parts, inspections and training, to support business growth.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels and strong retention.

Profil

You hold a technical qualification in maintenance, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent, and bring proven hands-on experience in a field service, industrial maintenance or MEWP/forklift environment. You thrive in an autonomous role and are energised by variety, customer contact and problem-solving.


Technical skills :

  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, with practical diagnostic experience.
  • Prior experience with MEWPs (aerial work platforms) or forklifts strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagnostic schematics.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and consoles.
  • Familiarity with QSE standards and industrial safety protocols.
  • Valid driving licence required; service van provided.

Soft skills and personal attributes :

  • Strong service mindset with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively across multiple customer demands.
  • Rigorous, precise and autonomous in the field.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with diverse interlocutors in Swedish and English.
  • Flexible and available: willingness to travel several days per week, including occasional overnight stays of up to 5 to 7 nights per month depending on activity.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit and a natural drive to grow professionally.
