The Position : Within our Benelux After-Sales Service organization and reporting to the Service Department, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair operations on Haulotte machines across the southern Benelux region, particularly around Eindhoven, Maastricht, Belgium and Luxembourg.  

As a Field Service Technician, you ensure the operational availability and reliability of our aerial work platforms and telehandlers while providing a high level of technical support to our customers. Working directly on customer sites, you contribute to customer satisfaction, machine performance and the continuous development of our service quality, in compliance with the Group’s Q/C/D/HR/S/E objectives and values.  

A true technical partner for our customers, you act as Haulotte’s representative in the field. Through your expertise, responsiveness and customer focus, you play a key role in maintaining long-term customer relationships and supporting the growth of our aftermarket activities.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

Field Service Operations

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aerial work platforms and telehandlers at customer locations.
  • Carry out diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Conduct machine inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure interventions are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Customer support and Technical Expertise
  • Provide technical advice and assistance directly on customer sites.Identify root causes of equipment issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Support customers in maximizing machine performance and uptime.
  • Promote best practices regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Coordination and Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare accurate and detailed intervention reports after each service visit.
  • Collaborate closely with Service, Spare Parts and Aftersales teams to ensure effective customer support.
  • Share technical feedback from the field to contribute to product and service improvements.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Profile

Holding an MBO Level 3 or 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, you have successful experience as a Field Service Technician, Maintenance Technician or Service Engineer within an industrial, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or similar environment.

Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems and diesel engines.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues independently.
  • Experience working on mobile equipment, machinery or industrial systems.
  • Good command of Dutch and English; French is considered an advantage.
  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Benelux region.
